September 14, 2024 was a very nice day to get married. It was a very sunny day, with a bit wind that brought a cool breeze allowing us to further enjoy the day . It all started at Saint Joseph's Church in Clarksburg, California. Slowly but surely, the wedding couple’s family and friends started to arrive, ready to witness a union of love into marriage.

There was a certain nervous atmosphere from the guest as they waited in anticipation for the arrival of the couple. As soon as they arrived, one after the other, the padrinos and madrinas proceeded to line up and begin the processional down the church aisle. The mariachi began to play and the groom, Felipe, took his place at the front of church anxiously waiting for his bride to meet him at the altar. We could all see the happiness that Ruvi showed with a smile, while she walked down the aisle of the Church on the hand of her father and mother; eagerly walking towards her fiancé, and soon to be husband, Felipe.

Although the catholic wedding ceremony was a bit long, the priest spoke with a lot of charisma. On more than one occasion, the priest made everyone who attended giggle which seemed to relax the bride and groom allowing them to fully enjoy the moment. After the wedding vows, the nuptial blessing and the pronunciation of husband and wife the long-awaited kiss as newlyweds could not have been missed. After taking the family portraits, we took more bride and groom portraits in the gardens outside of St. Joseph’s Church. We also took the time to do some beautiful wedding video highlights for the couples wedding gallery.

Right after capturing the bride and groom photos, we headed to Armaan's Palace Event Hall in Elk Grove, California where the wedding reception would be taking place. There we were able to follow the traditional wedding celebrations of this union. The wedding guests, especially the friends of the bride and groom were ready to party. Mexican wedding traditions were part of this event such as La vibora de la mar, “el muertito” which is throwing the groom up in the air, el baile del dolar or the money dance. The delicious food menu consisted of carnitas, rice and beans with a side of tortillas, and a great selection of drinks which included margaritas, tequila, beer and the non-alcohol drinks. Banda Tierra Azteca played some great music that made everyone dance to the rhythm of the banda. We had a fun wedding day and we would like to share with you a little of what this memorable day was like for Ruví and Felipe on their wedding day.
